Q. Why does Matignon High School need an Annual Fund?
Q. Doesn’t tuition cover the cost of a student’s education?
A. Your gift to the Annual Fund bridges the gap between what the school receives in tuition and the actual cost of educating our students. The difference for the Class of 2015 is $1800 per student.
Q. Who is asked to donate to the Annual Fund?
A. We ask the entire Matignon High School Community, which is comprised of the Board of Trustees, Alumni, current & alumni parents, the faculty, staff, administration and friends to support the Annual Fund.
Q. How much should I give to Matignon High School’s Annual Fund?
A. We ask everyone makes as generous gift as possible. Gifts of any size fully impact Matignon High School’s ability to continue educating the leaders of tomorrow.
Q. Is it possible to pay my pledge with appreciated securities or with a credit card?
A. You may transfer appreciated securities and also pay by credit card. We accept MasterCard and Visa only.
Development
Where are we located?
- The Development and Alumni Relations Office
is located on the second floor of the Alumni Building.
The primary objectives of the Office of Development and Alumni Relations are:
- To ensure a secure a financial future for Matignon High School by
engaging current parents, alumni parents, alumni, Trustees, faculty, staff and friends philanthropically to benefit Matignon High School
- Provide excellent stewardship of all donations
- Maintain and cultivate the sense of community that alumni experienced
as students and work to strengthen their affiliation with the school through active alumni participation
- To create awareness of the continued excellence and needs of Matignon
High School
Matignon’s fundraising initiatives consist of ongoing but separate programs:
- Annual Fund
- Annual Golf Tournament and Dinner
- Adopt a Student Program
- Tuition Assistance
- Special projects and Capital Campaigns
Fundraising is essential to Matignon High School’s continued success. All fundraising efforts on behalf of Matignon High School are approved by the Office of Development and Alumni Relations, including, but not limited to, letter, e-mail and phone solicitations. |
